FunderPro Review:

FunderPro offers a tiered evaluation (“Challenge”) program with account sizes from US $5,000 up to US $200,000 initially. Traders select from three challenge types: One-Phase (single step), Classic (two-step, 10% then 5% profit targets) and the newer Pro Challenge (two-step, 10% then 8%). Their fees vary with account size; e.g., a $5k challenge may cost around US $69. There is no fixed time limit to pass the challenge (though inactivity may lead to termination).

Once funded, traders can keep a large share of profits: notably up to 90% profit split in some cases. A recent update introduces the Pro Challenge, which gives traders two reward tracks:

  • Daily Rewards: claim whenever the account is ≥ 1% above initial balance, with a 60% profit split.

  • Weekly Rewards: one scheduled payout per week, with a 90% profit split built-in, no add-ons required.

The initial challenge fee is credited back on the first withdrawal in many cases. Payouts are notably fast — average payment time ~8 hours after approval.

Trading Rules and Risk Limits

FunderPro’s rules are transparent and trader-friendly. The Pro Challenge leverages two phases at 10% and then 8% profit targets. There are drawdown limits: e.g., maximum daily drawdown (typically 3–5% balance-based) and maximum total drawdown (6–10%) depending on challenge type.

There is no minimum trading-day requirement in many challenge types; the key is meeting profit target without cutting rules. Positions must generally be closed before weekend unless a “Swing” add-on is purchased (for weekend/overnight holding). EAs / bots are allowed if owned by trader.

Trading instruments include Forex, metals, indices, crypto and stocks, on platforms like MetaTrader 5, cTrader and FunderPro’s own TradeLocker framework. Standard leverage for many accounts is up to ~1:50 (higher in some cases) though specifics vary by account type.

Customer Feedback

Overall the feedback leans positive, with many users highlighting the fast payouts, clear rules and responsive customer support. For example, recent reviews suggest payments within hours and no hidden clauses.

However, there are some weaker spots: a minority of users report issues such as delays in fee refunds, slippage concerns, or platform glitches. While not widespread, they serve as reminders to always read the terms carefully and test small.

From this data, FunderPro stands out in areas like payout flexibility (daily or weekly) and transparent profit-split options. For traders frustrated with slower schedules or more restrictive models at some firms, FunderPro offers a compelling alternative.

Summary

In summary, FunderPro presents a strong offering in the prop-trading space: transparent rules, attractive payout structures (especially via the new Pro Challenge), and fast reward processing. While no prop firm is without risks or trade-offs, FunderPro’s newer model gives traders meaningful choice (daily vs weekly rewards) and a clear path to management of firm capital. If you’re a trader looking for flexibility and a relatively clean structure, FunderPro is a serious contender.
